Punta Gorda Town, locally known as “P.G.,” is the capital of the Toledo District in the southern coast of Belize. The district has become known as “the Forgotten Land,” due to its rural and remote location. Toledo features some of the most pristine rainforests, extensive cave networks, coastal lowland plains, and offshore cayes.
